Responsible for core network services: Novell, Unix, O/S2, Microsoft, Networking and Lotus Notes Services. Managed the networking practice in Tampa, Florida, profitably growing it from 15 to over 26 (CNA, CNE, ECNE, MCP, MCSE, CNI, ACE, ASE) professionals and achieving recognition as Tampa's leading systems integrator, rated #21 nationally in the LAN 100 top systems integrator list and #298 on the INC 500 fastest growing privately held company roster. Directed the successful customer target market change of 20-node networks to that of the larger small to medium-size business (SMB) market. Installed networks for leading corporations that included Staff Leasing and Anchor Glass. Pioneered new outsourcing services to customers, such as: Plasma Therm and Octel. Identified and implemented strategic vendor relationships with outstanding vendors like Raptor Systems and Bay Networks. Completed technical certifications in Network Management to become an HP-OpenView Channel Partner - adding network analysis and base lining services (using HP-Advisor) to increase company profits.

Developed and created a new Advanced Network Services Group with very little upper management support. Proved the validity of new group’s profitable services in a short period of time and won over complete management support. New services included: installation of turnkey low-end Internet security firewall solutions to highly customized enterprise solutions; installation and development of secure world wide web servers and their HTML pages; internal network security systems; and the addition of educational classes and seminars about the Internet. Identified, recruited, and cultivated industry experts on Unix and the Internet to fortify the base of expertise within the company. During this development phase customer satisfaction improved and the profitability of the Networking Group increased. Directly responsible for the profitability and growth of four advanced network service specialties: Unix, Internet, Network Management, and Network Analysis Services. These four services became the catalyst of company’s high margin business allowing them to achieve its first ever million-dollar gross profit month in May 1995.
